Two Bowl Tournament

The FPLBC Two Bowl Tournament is a pairs game in which each player rolls two bowls each end. Players have different partners and play on different rinks each game and keep their own score. As much as possible each team will be composed of an experienced player and a less experienced player for each game. If there are an odd number of players the person without a partner plays four bowls and always plays first regardless of who won the previous end. It may be necessary to move the boundaries of a rink to avoid playing on the same rink twice. We play three ten end games. Winners and other places are determined by the number of points scored.

The cost is $10 a person and the proceeds will be distributed to the first three place winners. Bring correct change! Please arrive at 9:45 to help with set up. We will play in light rain but not during a thunderstorm so bring an umbrella or jacket if showers are expected. I will cancel the event one hour before the start if the weather makes the greens unplayable.

This is a good tournament for our new members to participate in as you play with a new partner each game and will have the benefit of playing with more experienced players for coaching advice. It is also one of our shorter events since, as the name suggests, only two bowls are used.

We look forward to seeing you at the Tournament.
