Renting the Greens
In partnership with Pittsburgh Citiparks, the Frick Park Lawn Bowling Club is responsible for maintaining the health and bowl-ability of our lawn bowling greens. As a beautiful venue in Pittsburgh’s Frick Park, the greens are available to rent for team building activities, corporate outings and family celebrations. Rental fees help to defray the costs of the maintenance of our greens.
Rental Fees*
$100 Green Fee + $15/Person
Family Outings and small Non-Profit organizations
$300 Green Fee + $15/Person
Large Groups and Corporations
*Rental fees are up to two hours
What’s Included
All equipment needed for lawn bowling.
Volunteer club members will be available to teach your groups how to play the game and facilitate the use of the greens and equipment.
Use of the handicap accessible clubhouse including the refrigerator, microwave, kitchen sink, utility sink and men’s and women’s bathrooms.
Six 5 ft. picnic tables with folding chairs as well as a city picnic shelter with two large picnic tables.
Lighting for evening events.
Ample on-street parking is available (Click here for map)
Club Rules and Suggestions
Covid-19 protocols are followed according to Allegheny County Guidelines at the time.
Since we are outside and at a rather low density of people, masks are optional.
Guests should wear comfortable clothing and flat-soled shoes.
It is wise to bring a hat, water and sunscreen during the hot summer months.
