Club House remodeling was finished this summer and looks great. The bathrooms are now handicap accessible. We have new lockers, a small kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, and sink. The backroom has storage space and a washup sink. The floor is now tiled.
Frick Park Lawn Bowling Club (FPLBC) is gearing up for another great season in 2012.
Thursday Neighborhood Lawn bowling nights are back by popular demand. We invite neighbors down to the greens to give lawn bowling a try with club members available to help get you started. Your first night is free and if you want to come again, the fee is $10 per adult and $5 per child. Lawn bowing is a wonderful way to get yourself and your family outside on a warm summer night.
If you’re interested in Tuesday morning or Wednesday evening leagues and tournament play, consider becoming a member for $175.00. Bowls are available for free through the club. We also welcome corporate or club events and can work with your organization to create a different kind of social gathering or fundraising event. Please feel free to contact Hank Luba at 412.782.0848.
Lawn bowling attracts ages from teenagers to seniors and the Frick Park Lawn Bowling club is no exception. Several bowlers live in the Pt. Breeze neighborhood and are a great source of information about the Club and the sport.
See you on the greens! |
